I am a single mom of three wonderful children. My hobbies are reading, gardening, and spending time volunteering with homeless programs. My name is Kira and I am a State Certified Secondary English Education/ Public Speaking instructor. I am available for private tutoring sessions in any English Language Arts area, speech preparation and writing, and remedial reading for adults. I have twelve years of experience teaching English with students from sixth to twelfth grades. I have worked for five years in GED preparation programs and with remedial adult instruction. I have four concentrated years of teaching special education, as well as two years of teaching English and Public Speaking at the community college level. I have a passion for words that I would love to share with you or your student! I am available for private tutoring sessions by appointment.
